Beth Libow LeFante

Beth Libow LeFante focuses her practice on labor and employment and student affairs matters, providing advice to offices across the University.

Ms. LeFante began her career as an Associate in the Labor and Employment Law Group of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher and Flom LLP, where she advised clients on a broad spectrum of labor and employment matters.  Ms. LeFante then served as the Assistant General Counsel at Stevens Institute of Technology, where she counseled university offices on various compliance, litigation, and contractual matters with a focus on labor and employment, student affairs, and athletics.

Ms. LeFante received her B.A. summa cum laude from Boston College, where she studied Political Science.  She received her J.D. with High Honors from the University of Connecticut School of Law, where she was the Alumni Affairs Editor of the Connecticut Law Review.  Ms. LeFante is a member of the New Jersey, New York, and Massachusetts state bars and is admitted to practice in various federal courts.
