    Copyright
The current university copyright policy can be found at section 50.3.7 of the University Policy Library under "Copyright Policy - Interim." http://policies.rutgers.edu/PDF/Section50/50_3/50.3.7.pdf

The web page for the Rutgers University Libraries is an excellent resource for information about copyright as well as appropriate procedures to follow in preparing course packs and other materials for teaching. The Libraries website also provides extensive resources for guidance on "fair use" of the copyrighted materials of others. http://www.libraries.rutgers.edu/rul/rr_gateway/research_guides/copyright/copyright.shtml

    Patents
The University Patent Policy governs inventions by faculty, staff and students, and others using Rutgers facilities. The Patent Policy can be found at section 50.3.1 of the University Policy Library.

Office of Research and Sponsored Programs
ORSP provides information, services and support to faculty, beyond what is available in academic departments, regarding obtaining outside funding to conduct scientific research, create works of art, compose music, write books and articles, and improve their performance in the classroom. All grant applications should be reviewed by ORSP. ORSP ensures accountability and stewardship for sponsored programs and compliance with all applicable Federal, State, and University policies, procedures and regulations. The ORSP website also provides guidance on the requirements for research with human subjects and for animal care and use in research.
