Fabian Marriott
About
Fabian Marriott focuses his practice on providing counsel to University offices on labor and employment law issues, and represents the University in arbitrations and proceedings before various administrative agencies.
Prior to joining Rutgers, Fabian was an associate of Walsh Pizzi O’Reilly Falanga LLP, where his practice focused primarily in management-side employment litigation, as well as commercial litigation. He regularly represented universities and corporations in federal and state court matters. Fabian also conducted investigations for universities and financial institutions involving institutional policy violations, fraud, and other malfeasance.
Fabian earned his B.S. in Political Science from Rutgers University and his J.D. with honors from Rutgers Law School, where he was a member of the Order of the Coif, Executive Editor and published author for Rutgers University Law Review, and Teaching Associate for Legal Analysis, Writing and Research. Following his graduation from Rutgers Law School, Fabian served as a law clerk to the Honorable Walter F. Timpone, Associate Justice, Supreme Court of New Jersey, for the 2019-2020 term. Fabian is a member of the New Jersey and New York State Bars and is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.
