Becky English

Becky English works in the Office of the Executive Vice President and General Counsel’s Labor and Employment Group, where she counsels University offices and employees on a broad range of labor and employment matters and represents the University in arbitrations and administrative proceedings before various agencies. 

 Prior to joining Rutgers, Becky served as a Deputy Attorney General for the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General, where she worked in the Employment Litigation section. In that role, she represented multiple State agencies, including colleges and universities in complex employment litigation matters in both state and federal court. Before that role, Becky worked as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Charles W. Dortch, Jr., J.S.C. in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Family Division. 

 Becky earned her B.S. in Accounting from Stockton University and her J.D. degree from Rutgers Law School – Camden. Becky is admitted to practice law in New Jersey and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.
